Summer Nights

Mike and I spent the evening with Julie and Daniel shooting their engagement session in preparation for their upcoming nuptials in September. The evening was perfect for a photo shoot - a bit overcast with a cool, gentle breeze blowing. At the last minute, Mike and I decided to go with a completely different venue and I'm so glad that we did. We took a nice hike through the woods stopping at various locations along the way while Julie and Daniel enjoyed one another's company. Thank you for sharing your evening with us and we are looking forward to spending the day with you at your wedding.

Miss Maddy

Last night Mike and I spent the evening with Miss Maddy, her mama and memaw and had an amazing time together. We started with a dress-up session and then we hiked through the park stopping in many different places along the way. Maddy did an amazing job at each location always curious about her new surroundings. We snapped images of her for nearly 2 hours and she didn't mind in the slightest. Every time she'd give me one of her darling little smiles it melted my heart. Thanks for sharing your evening with us - you are growing up way too fast!

The Hottest Day Of The Year

Yesterday was recorded to be the hottest day thus far of this year, and, Mike and I spent it photographing a wedding. We visited several different locations during our shoot - all near the downtown, Indianapolis area. I really enjoy that area as there are just so many different opportunities with a camera. Courtney and Brad were loads of fun and just about willing to try anything. Neither one ever winced about the heat and I seriously don't think the bride ever broke a sweat. We finished the day with a stunning reception at the Skyline and my couple is jetting off to Mexico to enjoy their honeymoon. Congratulations and thank you for sharing your special day with us - it was absolutely breathtaking!

Sam I AM

Last night, Mike and I had the opportunity to spend a few hours with Samantha during her senior session with us. We had lots of fun in the studio trying out new poses in her athletic gear. And then, we headed outdoors into the blazing heat and high humidity. Our lens was more affected than Samantha. She didn't break a sweat and her smiles were adorable. In addition to the heat, I was a little concerned about the biting bugs but Mike brought our fogger along so they left us alone, and as a result, we got some wonderful shots of Samantha. Thanks for all the smiles kiddo - you were a real trooper!

Final Farewell

Last night was bitter sweet as it was my final session with Hadley. I was blessed to have had the opportunity of spending the first year of her life sharing in her many milestones capturing each one along the way for mom and dad to cherish forever in their hearts and minds. It always makes me a little sad bidding these little ones a final farewell and hope that you'll return to my studio from time-to-time so I can be amazed at all the changes that are yet to come. Keep smiling cutie and come see me often!

Darling Diva

This darling diva is my niece and I must confess that every time I see her, I could just gobble her right up...and now you can see why for yourself...look at her, she's irresistible:) I received some

brand new, complimentary props in my studio and I was so anxious to try them out. Little Miss Isabelle adorned these ribbons and bows "working them" like no other diva could - I am such a proud auntie:)

Darling, you look marvelous! I love you!

Summer Fun

Mike and I had such a fun evening with Mallory during tonight's session. From the moment I met her, I knew I was gonna like her. Not only was she easy to chat with, but she was also game for whatever pose I asked her to strike - and I must say, she pulled off some of the toughest like a real pro. She finished the session with a dip in the pool which, I am sure, was quite refreshing after spending nearly 3 hours in the sun. Thanks for all the smiles Mallory!

I'm A Little Bit Country

The weather was perfect on the eve of this engagement session with Candice and Jamie and after we got Jamie warmed up, he was quite the cut-up. We shared lots of laughs together and what makes this couple unique is their love of the country life....simple, laid-back, content....

It was Jamie's idea to incorporate that love of the country life into our session and I think these photos say it all....I'm a little bit country. Thank you for such a fun evening together - we are looking forward to your wedding!

Fun In The Sun

Tonight was such a fun night at the IMA with the Busold family. It took these little gals a bit to get warmed up, but once they finally did, they were all smiles for the duration. The evening temperatures were quite comfortable so we shot for well over an hour. The girls were such troopers and mom and dad promised ice cream and surprises for doing so well. Hannah Montana ain't got nothin' on you girls and Justin Bieber should be so lucky:) Thank you for sharing your evening with me!
