The Perfect Pair

Yesterday Mike and I spent the day with Caitlin and Dustin and what a fabulous day it was. Caitlin was exquisite and very laid back willing to do just about anything. Dustin had the best sense of humor always laughing and smiling. These two are the perfect pair complimenting each other in every way. It was clearly evident as I watched them through my lens how very much in love they were with one another. Congratulations to you both and thank you for sharing your special day with us.

Super Cooper

Mike and I had our second photoshoot with Cooper a few weekends ago and I was just shocked at how much this little man had changed his looks. He isn't that tiny newborn anymore....wide-eyed and alert Cooper gave me his full cooperation and was definitely ready for a nap by the end of our session. Your sweet little smile and easy-going disposition melted my heart Cooper and I can't wait to see how you've changed by the time our next session comes around.

Rainy Days and Smiles

Tonight was a night of firsts for Mike and me - our first official photo shoot in the pouring down rain and I must say that Emily and Keith took it all in stride. These two had already endured one cancellation due to the weather and it was "crunch-time". Although by the end of the shoot we were cold and soaked to the bone, we were smiling and laughing, in spite of the torrent downpour. I can also say that no one deserves sunshine and warmth more on their wedding day than Emily and Keith. Thanks for all the smiles tonight - you were both real troopers. I have no doubt that although your marriage may endure a few stormy days along the way, the two of you will see way more rainbows together!

A Girl And Her Horse

Tonight Mike and I spent a fun-filled evening with Emily and her horses. This session was originally booked last fall but due to weather, we had to reschedule - more than once. Mother nature finally gave us the break we had all been hoping for and we finished tonight with just about 3 weeks left before graduation. Emily is a natural and so were the horses. I'm always a little leery around a big animal but these girls were as sweet as could be and if it weren't for the biting flies, they probably would have let me take their picture all night. Thanks for all the beautiful smiles Emily, I hope you are as pleased with the outcome as I am. You are stunning!

Turning Two

A few nights ago Mike and I spent an evening with Cyle and his mommy at the gorgeous IMA. It was one of the first warm, sunny evenings so far this year so it was the perfect evening for a photoshoot. Cyle is growing up fast and precocious as ever. This little man was on the move so I got in quite the workout chasing him about. By the end of the night, I don't know who was more exhausted....Cyle or me. No matter, we got some fabulous images and I imagine both of us slept like babes. Thanks for all the fun Cyle - you are absolutely adorable!
