Congrats and Best Wishes

This Friday, Lexi signs with IU and will begin a new chapter of her life. I could not be more excited for you kid! You've been a friend and teammate to both of my girls and I'm definitely going to miss your talent and easy-going, calmness that you brought to the field and the court as an LHS Tiger, yet I realize that your dream is coming true and so I want to say congrats and best wishes on your new adventure - GO HOOSIERS!

History Buff

Mike and I spent an evening with Jonathan and his family roaming about the grounds of the Indiana War Memorial. Jonathan is a history buff and was in his element during our session. We wrapped up with some photos at the historical 911 Memorial along the canal and enjoyed a beautiful evening together. It was such a pleasure to meet you and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Dave and Jodi, thanks for joining in and thanks for all the laughs=) Rachel, thanks for taking me back to the younger days of Carly - YOU ARE JUST LIKE HER - TROUBLE with a capital "T"=)

Puppy Love

Tonight Mike and I spent an evening with Jen and Craig and their beloved pooch Cooper. The weather was a huge question mark the entire night. We didn't know from one minute to the next if the skies were going to open up and pour out loads and loads of rain so I was a bit anxious wanting to get the session complete....that is, until I met Cooper. The minute our eyes locked and he started wagging that tiny, little nub of a tail - I was hooked and all my worries flew out the window. I could have cared less about anything except petting, squeezing, hugging and rubbing Cooper - the puppy that looks just like a Boyd's Bear. Jen and Craig, I had a wonderful time with you both this evening and I'm totally looking forward to spending your wedding day together with you - by chance, is Cooper going to be in attendance - I'll be due for some more puppy kisses and I already miss him like CRAZY=)

Autumn Blaze

Tonight Mike and I spent a gorgeous fall evening with Brian and Shantel taking in the sites at the IMA. It truly is one of my most favorite locations in Indianapolis to take photos. The fall colors were in full display and I couldn't have been happier that we decided to move up this session from November. I have a sneaking suspicion that the leaves are going to disappear early this year as they are already starting to drop like crazy! Thanks for all the smiles you two - we had a blast and cannot wait to spend your wedding day together with you next Spring! Hope you enjoy these few "teasers"!

Baby Boo

Tonight Mike and I spent a brisk evening with Emma for her 9-month session and as always, she was all grins. I've said it a million times but I'm going to say it one more, she is, by far, one of the sweetest babies I've ever met never once protesting or putting up a fuss and we snapped her picture for well over an hour. I still love your beautiful eyes and precious smile just as much as I did on the day we met. I hope you like these pics of your first Halloween! XOXOXO

Love in a Family Dose

This morning Mike and I spent a fun-filled session with the Rabanus Clan, respectively speaking. Obviously, more than just the Rabanus' were in attendance and we had fun with 'em all! Miss Maddy and Little Joe were as sweet as ever and they did an amazing job the whole time with those adorable smiles I know so well! The guys kept us all in stitches, especially with their speed-walking demonstration. And, as always, it was great to be able to chat with the ladies about everything and nothing (as my husband would say=). Tonight, Mike and I spent a brisk autumn evening with Mandy and Matt at the IMA for their engagement session. Although there was a chill in the air, we couldn't have asked for a better time together and clearly, by the way these two look at each other, they couldn't be more in love with one another.
