Back Home Again

As many of you know, Mike and I hail from Lebanon, Indiana; yet, we haven't taken wedding pictures at a Lebanon venue for nearly a year now. With our latest couple, we were finally able to return to our old stompin' ground. The weather was beautiful but a little too windy for my bride so we utilized the natural light that was afforded us in the bridal suite of one of Lebanon's local churches.

Often times, during our Lebanon weddings we bump into a lot of familiar faces and this day was no exception. It was great seeing so many of those folks that I run into at the local grocery store, work place or city park. It's one of my most favorite things about living in a small town. I can be myself here in this small town and people let me be just what I want to be.

Infant Sessions

Whether this is your first baby or the newest addition to your growing family, our infant sessions are a real hit here at Photography With Love. We conduct the newborn session in your home which makes for an intimate yet low-key opportunity for us all to meet and begin getting to know each other. Then, you will come see us 4 more times in one year. It is our job to capture those moments that are gone in the blink of an eye. They grow up so fast, don't they.....

In addition to prints, many of our packages offer announcements, jewelry, albums and diaper bags all containing those precious images of your little bundle of joy. We hope to see you soon!

At The Mavris

Today was rainy and dreary....
no matter though with this venue. So many endless opportunities indoor that we can't wait to return in June. Mike and I always enjoy new venues and all the possibilties that come with each location. The Mavris is an old and rustic warehouse....supposidly haunted too. The wood and brick make for great natural backdrops and with the artist gallery on the top floor surrounded by natual light, this venue is truly a photographer's dream.

Back To The 40's

Germany was invading France and women everywhere were taking on jobs for the first time in their lives as many of our men proudly headed off to war. Although this decade seemed full of blood-shed, we all know what happened after the bombings....the boom, the baby boom, that is.....our military heros finally returned home to their anxiously awaiting lovers.

Our first themed wedding, for a day, recaptured that moment in time that will forever be carved in the hearts and history of our country.

I think that some of these photos definately give you that certain
feeling of nostalgia that can often come when vising the past.
