Fun At The IMA

Tonight Mike and I spent another fun night at the IMA with Jerry and Anna shooting their engagement session in preparation for their upcoming nuptials in March. These two were so great to work with - very laid back and willing to stick it out with us for the long haul. We needed to wait until near sunset to get some of the shots so I know that their smiles must have been completely spent by the end of the night, but, they never showed signs of fatigue taking it all in stride. Thanks for all the smiles you two - you were amazing! Mike and I are looking forward to your wedding day. It will be here before you know it!

Fall Colors

Mike and I spent a beautiful weekend with Amy and Brad photographing their wedding. We stopped off at several locations taking full advantage of the magnificent fall colors. The ceremony was at sunset in a quaint, little country chapel and luminaries adorned the happy couple's walk to their getaway limo that brisked them off to a nearby country club where the party was waiting. Everything from the bride's dress to the wedding cake was perfect. Thank you for sharing your day with Mike and me. Here's to wishing you a happily ever after.

Lovin' Our Senior Rep.

Well, for those of you who didn't know, this year our Senior Rep. was the lovely Kashia Moore from Lebanon, IN. During each session, Mike and I had such a fabulous time with her. Not only is she gorgeous but she's also loads of fun to work with. We wrapped up our final session tonight and I could not be more thrilled with the outcome of our time together. Kashia, I wish you all the best in your very bright future and thank you so very much for all those amazing smiles, creative ideas and fun-loving personality - you are the best!

A Beautiful Autumn Wedding

This weekend Mike and I spent a beautiful Saturday with Ashley and Justin sharing in their nuptials. My two favorite's from the day were the bride's exquisite gown and bride's maid's dresses - they were just fabulous! Lots of thought went into every detail and it showed. Here are just a few "teasers" from you day. I hope you enjoy them and thanks again for allowing Mike and I the opportunity to capture what will be some of your fondest memories!

Another Year Has Passed

Yesterday was another one of those bitter-sweet moments in my studio. Sweet Caroline celebrated her one year birthday in the studio with cakes, balloons and singing. It seems like just yesterday her mommy and daddy contacted me to come to their house for our first newborn session....and now she is crawling and toddling and smiling. I am going to miss this sweet little girl, and her big sister Charli too. Come back and see me often!

Another Fabulous Night

Mike and I spent another fabulous night outdoors walking through the woods with Brock for his senior photo shoot. Brock selected Eagle Creek Park for his session and it was a perfect match to his personality. The fall colors were absolutely fab and the temperatures were near perfect. Having a little experience myself with a bow and arrow, we connected over the topic of archery. It was a terrific evening and I hope you will enjoy these images.

Hometown Girl

Last night, Mike and I spent a beautiful evening with Sydney and her mom trekking all around Boone County for Sydney's senior session. Conversation came up about the location of her session and whether it was a good thing to have kept it "local" to the area. I can confidently say, after looking these pictures over, that we made the right choice. Sydney's pictures are unique and beautiful and who would have thought that such cool places could be found right here....yes, in our own hometown.... I hope you enjoy the images Sydney and thanks for giving Mike and me such gorgeous smiles.

Too Cute

Last night Mike and I met with Gavin and his mommy and daddy for some pictures at the IMA. We had a tough time finding each other amidst the sheer craziness going on. I have never seen so many photographers in my life all in one location vying for the prime spot to shoot the perfect picture. Aside from the insanity though, there was Gavin.... He was a little bit cautious at the beginning keeping his distance from me and the camera but by the end of the evening he was all smiles and that grin of his melted my heart. Thanks for such a wonderful evening and I hope you enjoy the pics!

Autumn Glory

This past weekend, Mike and I spent a few hours with the Miller family. This gang was completely laid back and so much fun! I learned from my husband that Kevin, one of the members in this family, saved Mike's life many, many years ago when Mike was just a boy. Coming from a small town, it seems that we know, in some way or another, our clients or friends of our clients or distant relation to our clients but none of them quite as interestingly as Kevin - thanks again, we certainly wouldn't be here today without your heroic deed. I had such a terrific time with you all and hope that you will get many years of joy from these moments that we were able to share together on a brisk Autumn afternoon.
