I'm A Little Bit Country....

Mike and I spent a warm, summer night getting to know Claudia and Kyle shooting their engagement pictures for their fall, 2013 wedding. That sounds like forever away but I know it will be here before we know it. We walked through Kyle's dad's property utilizing lots of vintage items that had been there for years and then we took a little jaunt to the woods located just behind the property.  As the sun was beginning to fade behind the bean field, we took the last few shots which proved to be some of my favorite.  You two are such a cute couple and it's plain to see how much love you have for one another.  Congrats on your engagement and I can't wait to spend your wedding day together.

A Lifetime of Love

Congratulations and best wishes to Kara and Ryan on your recent marriage. Mike and I were both very blessed to be a part of your beautiful day so thank you for sharing it with us. In spite of the heat, you both were such troopers. Kara you were absolutely stunning in every way and Ryan, you were handsome as ever. Your wedding party was terrific and I can't thank them enough for never once complaining! You both have wonderful friends and amazing families and it was evident to see that you are surrounded by many who love and care about you. All my best!

A New Beginning

As the quote goes, "Graduation is not the end, but rather the beginning"; and I can say now that I have a much greater appreciation for these words because of my own experience with my first daughter's graduation from LHS. As Olivia prepares to embark on her new beginning, she was my first senior from the class of 2013. Before now, I had not known the emotions of fear or excitement or wonder when talking to seniors but now, I feel that I share a deeper connection with Olivia and those that will follow. So Olivia, I wish you all the best for senior year and enjoy each day as it comes. These days will prove to be some of the best in a lifetime!
