Brown Eyed Girl

This past weekend I had the opportunity to meet Sydney. We weren't sure if the shoot was going to happen due to a severe injury she sustained just hours before the session. However, Sydney was quite the trooper and did not complain one time over the many different poses I would ask her to perfect. As you can see by these few pictures, not a wince or a grimace - just those beautiful brown eyes. Hope you're feeling better Sydney!

A New Baby Brother

Congratulations to the Acton family on their newest bundle of joy, Jesse. Mike and I spent a fun-filled morning with this family running about the house chasing after the two older boys with cameras flashing away. I was introduced to a stegosaurus, a talking pinata and of course the sweetest, most easy-going little baby I ever have met. Jesse just laid quietly while his energetic brothers bounced about laughing and playing all the while. When we finally wrapped up our session hugs and high-fives were doled out in the grandest of fashion.

Blue Eyes

Look at these beautiful baby blues - I could have gotten lost inside them. Three months had passed since I last saw Nolan and I barely recognized him. They change so much during the first year which is why it is so important to me to capture every fleeting moment. I'm already anxiously anticipating all the new things he'll be doing by the time our next session rolls around, just a mere 3 months from now.

On The Good Ship Lollipop

Tonight was Cyle's 9-month session and I had so much fun capturing his sweet, sugary smiles with one of the biggest lollipops I think I've ever seen. Sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge coming up with new, unique props for little boys but it is my personal opinion that the lollipop was a huge hit and I think by the delightful expression on Cyle's face, he too approved.

It's A Party

One of my most favorite times here in the studio are our 1-year birthday bashes. It's so much fun to watch all the many different responses to what a child will do when faced with a sugar-coated, fluff of wonderment. Some jump right in, while others, start off slow and apprehensive. I've seen everything from crying to giggles and each little reaction is priceless. If you are interested, we book birthday bashes separate or they come with any of our infant packages. We're absolutely positive that it will be an experience you won't soon forget.
