Mike and I finished our last wedding for the month of May yesterday, and just like all the rest this month, the day was absolutely perfect for Matt and Mandy and their big "I Do's". Matt was cool as a cucumber never breaking a sweat and Mandy was absolutely gorgeous. Your ceremony was stunning and your reception was fabulous. Truly, it was an amazing day and you were surrounded by amazing family and friends. You are both so blessed and I wish you many more years of happiness together. Thank you for sharing your day with Mike and me, it was our privilege.

You For Me, And Me For You

In The Home Stretch Now
Mike and I wrapped up our Class of 2012 senior sessions with Evan just very recently. Having a daughter myself that is getting ready to graduate, I know all of the time, effort, thoughts and planning that go into preparing for commencement. I have been amazed and overwhelmed and yet, I know I'm not alone. Evan and his mom are right there with me=) It was such a pleasure to meet you both. Evan, it was fun to watch your eyes light up when talking about all of your future plans after high school. I know that no matter what you do, you will be successful not only because of your enthusiasm but because of your mom and strong support system you've got at home! Congrats on your upcoming graduation from high school!
Time Flies
Shantel was another one that I feel I've watched grow up over the years. She was one of my very first seniors so I was truly honored when she called to ask me to photograph her wedding. When I met Brian for the first time during their engagement session, it was clear that these two are very much in love. Your wedding day was absolutely beautiful and I was amazed at all of the thought put into every single detail. Congratulations Shantel and Brian and thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing Mike and me to be a part of your blessed day!
Just Yesterday
It seems like just yesterday Mike and I were taking Michael's and Emily's senior pictures for their high school graduation. And now, they are married and once again, Mike and I were blessed with an opportunity to share in that special occasion. I feel like I've watched you both grow up. You were a sweet couple in high school but that love has matured and blossomed into something stronger and steadfast. Congratulations on your wedding and I know you both have a bright future ahead together as Mr. and Mrs. Edwards!

No Pain, No Gain
Last night Mike and I spent a brisk, windy evening with McKenzie wrapping up her senior photoshoot just in time for graduation which is only a mere 5 weeks away. McKenzie was a true sport as I had a new prop that I wanted her to try out for me...the lollipop! We finished the night at her home in a small, wooded cove and just as we were leaving, I stepped on the biggest, dang thorn you've ever seen. It took my hubby and hour to cut away my shoe so that he could remove it from my foot but, as the famous quote goes...."no pain, no gain". Thanks McKenzie for all the gorgeous smiles. I wish you all the best at Ball State!

Class of 2012
I'd like to give a huge shout-out to Ryan Myers wishing him all the best as he closes out one chapter of his life and opens a new one. Congrats on your upcoming graduation from LHS. I know you've worked extremely hard to achieve this major accomplishment and you should be very proud of yourself!

Congrats and Best Wishes

This Friday, Lexi signs with IU and will begin a new chapter of her life. I could not be more excited for you kid! You've been a friend and teammate to both of my girls and I'm definitely going to miss your talent and easy-going, calmness that you brought to the field and the court as an LHS Tiger, yet I realize that your dream is coming true and so I want to say congrats and best wishes on your new adventure - GO HOOSIERS!
