Germany was invading France and women everywhere were taking on jobs for the first time in their lives as many of our men proudly headed off to war. Although this decade seemed full of blood-shed, we all know what happened after the bombings....the boom, the baby boom, that is.....our military heros finally returned home to their anxiously awaiting lovers.
Our first themed wedding, for a day, recaptured that moment in time that will forever be carved in the hearts and history of our country.
I think that some of these photos definately give you that certainfeeling of nostalgia that can often come when vising the past.
